On yet another swelteringly hot day, the Kaddyshack Golf Society travelled to the stunning course of Fota Island. With yet another massive turn-out, the course presented its self in immaculate condition with extremely fast greens and manicured fairways.

In the outset the early pace was being set by Professional Adrian Whitehead, who was sitting 3 under even with a one hole blob and setting the momentum. But through the back nine this was all to change with a mighty challenge coming from the east in the form of Michael Kavanagh from Waterford. Who, over the final 8 holes decided to put together a wonderful 20 points, and carding 34 points to win on the back nine against the luckless Darren Power also from Waterford.
