The Golf Society
The Golf Society known formally as The Kaddyshack Golf Society, was originally part of the Kaddyshack Membership Programme, becoming independent in 2010. As kaddyshack wanted to concentrate more on their membership programme for the future.
Over the coming months we have arranged 7 new dates to be played over Kerry courses. The first event, is to be played at Castleisland GC on the 24th of September, the second event is being played at the Ring of Kerry on the 8th of October and the third at Skelligs GC on the 22nd of Oct. The events planned for 2012 include: Killarney 25th of Feb, Killorglin 10th of March, Beaufort 24th of March, extra (Waterville 7th of April).
Membership is available from the 1st of September for one year and joining as never been so simple.
Each event will be played as a 4 ball better ball, with 2 scores to count. On entering the first event, each team will choose a team manager through which, all correspondence will be forwarded to. Each team will then be automatically added to each event at the same time with the same players. If a team cannot make their team time, they must give advance notification. If a team is short a player or two then the onus lays on each team to provide substitutes to replace the missing members. Each new person will be become a member on the day but not part of the original team. If a team cannot find enough players then they are entitled to ask the match committee to provide a team member.
